Steam turbine blades are subjected to high temperature and high pressure steam, which bears large bending moment in work, and high centrifugal force on the moving blades in high speed operation. The blades in wet swallow steam region, especially the last stage, are subjected to electrochemical corrosion and water droplet erosion, and they also bear very complex exciting force. Therefore, blade steel should meet the following requirements:
1. Sufficient mechanical properties and creep resistance at room temperature and high temperature;
2. High anti-vibration attenuation ability;
3. High tissue stability;
4. Good corrosion resistance and erosion resistance;
5. Good process performance.
